He received several awards, including the Student Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity Award for graduating with highest class rank, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award 4 consecutive years, the Periodontal Surgery Award, the ICOI Pre-Doctoral Implant Achievement Award, the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Award, as well as Paul W. Clopper Memorial Foundation and Illinois Hospital Scholarship awards.
Thereafter, in 1999, he received a General Practice Residency Certificate from the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Years later, in 2001, he received his Endodontic Certificate from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Endodontics is the dental specialty concerned with the study and treatment of the dental pulp. An endodontist is a dentist who specializes in treatment to help save teeth.
